4G64 Galant

My g/f has an 01 Galant with the 4G64. She's been complaining about a lack of power lately so I have plans for a tune up. What plugs and wires should I use? The car has 50,000 miles on it without ever having a tune up. I plan on putting an intake and exhaust on it soon but until then..what all should I check besides the obvious plugs and wires, air filter and tb cleaning? Thanks.

I'd probably replace the fuel filter as well.

Wires are probably still just fine - I would test them with an ohm meter and if ok, leave them on.
