Venom 400

Has anyone tried the venom 400? If yes how well does it work. I was thinking of purchasing one for my Spyder GS, but kind of wanted to know how well its works. Thanks for any info

In short, it does nothing you can't do.
For example...
When your at 1/4 WOT, it makes the car go 1/2 of WOT.
When your at 1/2 - car is at 3/4
When your at 3/4 - car is 100% WOT
When your at 100% WOT - venom does nothing.

So you could simulate the Venom by pushing the gas pedal farther down instead of buying a $400 machine to do it for you.

or get a smaller throttle body pulley for $20....

ya'll are both right, but I have heard and read that it can do a lot to help you out if you have and auto tranny. It gives less hesitation when you hit the gas for a down shift, and it raises the shift points.
