My 94 fwd transmission went out. It's automatic. I have a chance to get a 91 and would like to do the manual swap. Think I can do the 91 parts on my 94?
Thanks
If the transmissions have the same bolt patterns then it should work and i dont believe they do.
edit- because they have different bolt pattern engines 91-6bolt, 94-7bolt.

I thought it was different bolt patterns on the crankshafts
Hmm, well that sucks for me
Im not 100% on that but that is my view on it from what Ive heard.
sorry I think that only affects the awds so I think I might be wrong but the rear axles are different which wouldnt effect you.
:uzi:
It'll bolt right up. Getting the clutch pedal installed will suck though.:yup:

Only bad thing I can think of is that the '91/2 trans is not as strong as the '93/4. Can't remember the specifics now, but the '91/2 guys always like to grab up '93/4 trans after the original ones blow up.
