I have a Greddy 4-1 header and it look like someone cut it with a knife, and it's making noise upon acceleration. What do I do to fix? Besides noise am I hurting anything?

Your not really hurting anything, except low end and noise.
There really isn't a reliable way to fix headers, i supose you could try to weld but you are probably better off buying a new one. Good excuse to get a 4-2-1 :) (better for overall power)

Check your gaskets and exhaust joints first, look for black soot. Most of the time they send you cheap ass fiber gaskets to put on your new headers. If it is the gasket, go to mitsubishi and get a layered metal exhaust manifold gasket. If the hole is big enough you could be burning the valves when you shut the engine down and cold air rushes in to meet the red hot valves.

check at NAPA or other parts stores for exhaust weld. You dont weld it I guess its like a puddy that gets hard once you mix it and exhaust gasses make it harder. HEy its a chep fix but if it helps who cares.

Thanx everyone! I might try to exhaust weld instead of trying to take the headers off, cause it's still chilly out. Will look into everyone's suggestions and will update. :D

Well I am having my headers welded today. It was a bitch getting em out. The cracks were caused by there being no gaskets at the flex pipe and after the flex pipe. I am going to kill the asshole that installed this thing. I get em back this evening I will see how it goes.
