I own a 95 Eclipse GST, I put in a short throw shifter in it and ever since the car is hard to put into all gears and reverse. I wanted to know if anyone can help me out with this issue. I dont know if it is from to low of weight tranny fluid or the short throw is causing this problem. If it would be the short throw what would you suggest as a good one to install?

What short shifter are you using? The car showed no symptoms prior to the short shifter install and that is the only thing you changed?

I think i put in a fidanza short throw in it. Its my girlfriends car and one day she said she heard a squeaking noise when she pushed in the clutch pedal so i figure it also might be the clutch master cylinder.

The squeeking is probably just lack of lubrication on the clutch pedal...Don't condem the master cylinder because of a squeek
