I have A 95 GST i did a motor swap in I took the original 7 bolt motor out and got it rebuild wisco piston, eagle rods, arp head studs.I got everything back on and we started the car up it sounded fine did some adjustment to the dtec fuel computer when my friend went to drive it the reverse made a little gringing noise when he first first put it into gear we though it was car the car was cold but he drove it around the block three times and it seemed to run fine but when i went to try it the car i mean the whole car just jerked and jump everytime the rpms went up so when check the gear oil level it was low put new oil in the car still did the same thing when it got to about 4000 rpm so we are thinking its the trannny we're hoping we didntfuck it up but i asked a old school machanic and he said it sounds like the clutch needs to be adjusted or the clutch cable did anyone have this problem or maybe have so insite or solution please get back

Sounds like a similar problem that I am having. I did have my clutch adjusted recently,so I had my mechanic put it on his lift just to take a look around.. The tranfercase rear seal was shot (spitting oil everywhere) and my carrier bearings are going out. i'm having that fixed to see it that helps.. If it does I'll let you know.

The clutch is self adjusting in Talons and Eclipse. they have hydrophilic clutch. but if you adjust the clutch petal to much it could cause the TOB and fork to over extend and push the pressure plate forks to far and into the clutch is self not alowing it to fully disengage but that dont seem like the problem to me..
