I'm going to be dropping my tranny soon and replacing the clutch/flywheel/fork/TOB etc. I have never driven this car since I bought it...only had it started and idling.(Non drivable because of clutch issues)

I was told the tranny was in good shape, but is there anyway of me inspecting it to see for sure? I really have no idea what exactly to look for, but I figure that if I can I might as well try and give it a look to see how it looks in there since its coming out anyway.

Thanks as always.

About all you can do without cracking the case is spin the input shaft and see how well it shifts through the gears manually. I hope it all works out for you though.
