Ok so a girl cut me off about 3 months ago and totaled my car. I bought a shell and im now rebuilding my car. A friend of mine gave me an awsome deal on his clutch setup since hes getting married just got a house and needs money. Its a ACT 2900 with clutch, pressure plate and flywheel all with 5000 miles on them. Now im building this car right, taking my time with it but this will be a dd, a ridiculous dd at that haha :grinning: . From what i read and he told me its just like the ACT 2600 but holds more power. I was wondering if anyone has used this clutch before and what they think of it?

I have the 2900 w/ a street disk on my car. My car hasn't seen pavement in about 14 months (too many other projects) but prior to that I drove the car every day and I never had an issue with the clutch, fairly easy to modulate, never any slippage. If/when I toast this one I will definitely be getting a twin disk but I am quite satisfied with the 2900 so far.
