It will bolt up.

I would imagine that the transmission would bolt up as long as it is a 2g fwd turbo transmission.

I would also suspect that the flywheel is going to be different.

I'm swapping a turbo transmission into a 98 spyder 4g64 because i had am extra one laying around and my 4g64 transmisssion died.The torque converter won't go in unless you have the pivot milled 1/4 of an inch. The turbo transmissions have a longer pivot. You will have to swap the three bolt flexplate with the four bolt one. You will also have to swap the metal plate between the transmission and block because the starter is out further due to the turbo torque converter being larger.This might only be because the turbo transmission was out of a 96 4g63t. I'm not sure if you will have to with a 96+ turbo transmission. If i run into anymore problems i'll post them.

Disregard that last post all you have to do is pull the pilot bushing out and swap them and change the metal plate between blocks.
