I painted my side markers with nite-shade stuff. I wasn't impressed. I assumed that it would be Glossy black, but it was flat black :( You know what they say about assumeing :( Just make sure you prep the surface that you are about to paint with thinner or a softer abbrasive to get all your finger prints off of the lights. Tape them up and spray.

If you wait about a week and buff them with rubbing compound they look factory!Or you can clear coat them with some spray can clear, have done it both ways and was very happy with the results!!

I too have used it several times and I love it but like Randy said you need to clear coat them to get a high gloss finish,The best thing to do is wet-sand the parts first with a 2000-2500 grit wet sanding paper then apply the Night shades, wet sand it again the apply the clear coat.
btw this stuff runs very easy.Dont try to cover it with one coat, apply 3or 4 coats or more depending on how dark you want it!

I got a couple of cans from Summit.. I haven't used it yet, because the cops around here tend to be on the picky (gestapo-style) side... Is this stuff legal? Just curious.. Thanks for the clearcoat tips, too.. I was curious.

Well considering the RX7 and Beretta taillights are pretty much blackouts stock it shouldn't be illegal, technically.

Man, you guys are either crazy or sand-paper happy  Cleaned my lights with Windex first, then with some rubbing alcohol. Spray on a good 3 or 4 coats and they're as shiny as new stock lights. Haven't lost any visibility, well, maybe like 5%, but that's about it. No prepping needed. Best info is the directions on the back of the can.

I need to get some of this stuff I guess. The GTS covers I have are starting to look too ghetto to me. That and the primer on the rubber trim on the marker lights. Some people just don't know how to mask things right.

I haven't done the front pieces, only the taillights. I don't think I'm going to do the fronts either, maybe I will on the daily, but it doesn't look so good so far :(
