TSI or GSX???????????

I am thinking about buying a 2g TSI because I can't afford a 2g GSX. I know they are pretty much the same car with the same engine but I never see any modded 2g TSI's around where I live, they are all gsx or gst.
so is the 2g gsx faster than the 2g tsi awd?

And as the title says...... For some reason or another some insurance companies even have the Talons priced cheaper for insurance. Dont ask me why, cause I have no clue considering mechanically the cars are identical. Its only cosmetics that differentiate the 2 cars. I like the looks on both cars so I say get what you want, or atleast what you can afford.

buy a 95 tsi awd, they are the shit. oh wait maby I am a little biased. be carfule thoug I hadent ever seen a red 2g talon in my town befor I bought it bout now some socer mom owns one, some hot girls drive one, and I have seen 2 nt's. the only thing I don't like about the talon- everyone says Ta-Lawn. I love my car even though its an auto(but for some reason compared to other stock autos it pulls way harder, must be the pillar full of gauges). I bet you could get a 95 tsi awd auto with 65,000 mi. for around 6500-7000$.

i just got a 95 eclipse gst, a 95 talon tsi was actually 3$ more per month than the eclipse.....i thought i could outsmart the insurance company by picking the tsi which was identical to the eclipse, and thinking that the insurance would be way cheaper.... but it didnt work....they knew

Eclipse all the way So far you're the only person that has ever told me that the Talon was more. Usually they are either cheaper or the same.....not more. Maybe ins. companies are catching on.Usually resale value and trade in values are also lower than the Eclipses of compareable years. Does the eclipse have ABS and the Talon does'nt or something????? Something that little is the only reason I can think of for the price difference.Factory alarm or something maybe.

i got my talon in early 99 for 10,000 out the door w/ a little over 42,000 miles on it. previous owner was an older female. i see eclipses all day where i live, rarely see a talon, let alone a tsi or tsi-awd. u can give it that nice sleeper effect to if your into taking off the badges.

Although personally I like the way the Eclipse's look better, I took found myself buying a Talon because I got a really hot deal on the vehicle. As for the you don't see alot of modded Talon's.... I don't know where you're from, but I have seen plenty, and hold a fairly well modded one myself, and it's a '95... go ahead and check out the pictures, I think that you can make one look pretty damn nice.
