Hey guys, I just ordered a new mitsu O2 sensor (2G) for $57.
Is it near the cat and is it hard to install

And I also wanted to ask how much do a fuel filter cost usually, where the heck is it and is it hard to install too.??

As for the O2 sensor there is 2 on our cars. One is in the O2 housing after the turbo and the other is the one near the cat con. As for the fuel filter it it on the firewall behind the battery and looks like a cylinder with fuel lines running in the top and out of the bottom. The filter itself is only like $10 but it is a pain to get to. Remove the battery and get ready to wedge your hands in there. I actually looked at mine and then paid someone $15 to do it for me. :)

HMM I just ordered the typical O2 sensor, so which O2 Sensor would that be??

Which O2 sensor is it refering to when I tap the O2 voltage from the ECU line?

I am not sure if there is a difference mechanically between the 2 O2s. The one you tap into for an a/f ratio reading is the front one.

Conicelli Mitsubishi has them for around 60 bucks. RRE and Buschur has em for about 70-80. I was at RRE and didn't want to wait for a 1000 mile mail order to come in so I picked one up at RRE. Mike Welch says the 2nd O2 does nothing for drivability of the car... I knew this already... he says you can forget the sensor and just take the bulb out of the dash, or live with the CE light. If my cat o2 sensor breaks I wont replace it unless it's real cheap.
