Sup guys, let me explain what happened.
I was messing with my stereo, and i didnt disconnect the battery, i was too lazy, anyhow i created a decent sized spark and blew the radio fuse.. ok replaced that everything is fine.. but now my power windows dont work! here's the weird thing, they were half down when i blew the radio fuse, and the switches wouldnt make them go back up, but when i armed the alarm the windows rolled up... first of all, is there a power window fuse on 1g's? if so, where is it located? im hoping my alarm bypasses the fuse so it doesnt rely on that power to work the motor. I am all out of ideas, its really hot out and my a/c doesnt work, its hell.

Any info or thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I'm not sure if there's a fuse (I would think there is). But I'm assuming you have a DEI 530T, or something similiar to roll the windows up. Those units require a constant power source, so it would have a different positive feed than the factory wiring, since the power windows only roll up when the key is in the acc or ign position.
I would say look in the manual for the car. It tells you what fuses do what.

but do you know what would cause it to stop working?
im assuming that the huge electric shock caused it, but where does the problem lie?

thanks

to me sounds like somehow the fuses got jumpered somehow...

if you arm yoru alarm and the windows go up then that's what it is...

if you can find the fuse replace it and it should be fine. every time you arm your alarm power is going to your window i bet. not sure. but find the fuse and replace it - best bet

I'm having the same problem with my power windows after a boost gage install. I have replaced the fuse and the relay, and they still don't work. I am now in the process of locating the Fusable link to them.

Have you fixed your power windows? I have a similar problem and the fusible links, relays are all o.k. If you figured it out please let me know.
Thanks
