Well, dude which car do you have 1st gen or 2nd gen??? How wide of rim? And it depends on what offset! Give us something to work with!

I have 17x7.5 and I run a 217/45/17..:D I'm not for sure if the 235/45/17 will fit on a 7.5 wheel..

If my 225 fit on a stock 6" wide rim then 235 will fit on a 7.5" for sure.

As far as 235 with 2' drop with sportlines I think they will fit. I am pretty sure but dont hold me against it.

Just my .02 cents,

I've tried to squeeze 235/40 tires on my 17x8 TSWs [w/ 1.8" drop courtesy of Eibach Sportlines]. Strangely enough, it worked with my Rage Road Hugger tires [but they fell apart]. When I tried the same size with a set of Dunlops, my rear fenders cut a groove an inch of the sidewall into the tread. Needless to say, that didn't work.

Sounds like it's gonna be 7.5" rims - yeah. And 8.0" rims - neah. Hope this helps...

MY homeboy has a 99 GST.He runs a Niche Chrome Bella 18x8.5 with BFGoodridges Euro T/A 225/40/18..He has a Eibach Pro Kit.Which I think is 1.8"..He has no problems.BTW he's selling them to get 19's..

Actually, the Eibach Pro Kit drop is 1.3" ... or else he'd have problems putting those under his 99GST. Also, I think the matter at hand is whether the tires are gonna rub - 225 are considered a safe with on the 2Gs.
