2G Stereo Installations

Anybody who has an aftermarket cd player in their 2G please respond. What is the depth of the receiver you used. Anybody using 6 3/4"? My friend is looking for a new deck for his GST Spider.

its pretty deep so i dont think there would be a stereo that wouldnt fit, i have an alpine dvd and tv setup and it fits fine,

My Aiwa head unit is 6.63 inches and it went in with no problem, and there seemed to be room to spare. I doubt that 6.75 would be a problem.
