I originally have the stock low-performance stereo from my 92 talon. main unit is radio, 2nd is tape. And I now have a premium unit from a 93? Whith the main having the radio/tape and 2nd is cd. However, I have one problem. The pins on the back of the stock 92 arent the same as the new ones. I do not have the stock harness for the new system, but I can solder wires and electrical clips that will work, I just need to know which wire goes where. The back of the 92 stock is:
X-X-X--X-X--X-X-X
X-X----X----X---X
and the new unit is
X-X-X------X-X-X
X-X-X-X--X-X-X-X
does someone know what pins do what? I know that there are 4 for the channels, 1 for the speaker ground (the 5 on the right from the stock) and then I believe 3 for the light system, and the other 5 for the main unit and 2nd unit's power. If someone has a specific schematic or knows what either or both units are laid out like, please send me an email => roadpie4u@aol.com or repost this thread. Thanks.
