Alarm LCD Display Placement???

I am getting my alarm put in tomorow (Alpine SEC-8063) and it has a digital LCD screen that shows the alarm status. I am having trouble deciding where to put it. Does anyone else have this alarm or an LCD installed into their car.
To give you an idea this LCD is about the size of a business card, and about 1/4" thick. I dont want the wire to be seen, so it has to be somewhat close to the main alarm unit....

Any ideas for a 2nd gen Talon?

You can't get a longer wire and mount it in the visor?

Otherwise I would suggest mounting it somwhere in the Glove compartment or in the armrest (on the back of the part that flips up)

I just used up my "creative" for the night....
