Ive read like a dozen searches now.
WHICH wires on the ignition need to be connected to the Greddy TT? My little book of instructions doesnt give color codes.
They didnt have any wiring harnesses left so im out of luck. Im going to have a 1g Talon TSI im hooking this to.
Im not even sure how to get the ignition piece out so i can hook this up, any one help me out a bit?

1G ignition switch wiring:
WHITE (Constant +12v)
BLUE (Accessory)
BLUE/BLACK (IGN2)
BLACK/WHITE (IGN1)
BLACK/YELLOW (Starter)
Wire the turbo timer's blue to IGN1, and green to IGN2 (or the other way if you want, it doesn't matter which is which). Don't wire to ACC, you want to use IGN1 and IGN2. Wire the turbo timer's red to Constant +12v, and turbo timer's black gets grounded.
Have fun.. :D

I bought the harnest for my Greddy turbo timer. My cost on it was like 7.50. With that it took a hole 30 second to put it in. Then if you are bored you can set up your speed sensor and e-brake sensor. That takes some time but you dont need them it works without them. Just buy the harnest and you will be happy you did trust me.

Kinda glad this topic was brought back up. I forgot to mention in my last post that if you wire a TT up this way (quoted below) your fans won't work and you'll overheat the car. You do not need to power ACC with the turbo timer. The blue and green wires on the turbo timer go to IGN1 and IGN2... NOT TO ACC. IGN1 runs the ECU, ignition, fuel pump, etc... and IGN2 runs the radiator fans and HVAC.Originally posted by evoir

I think everybody on the face of the earth understands that buying the harness is the easiest way to install a TT. No big surprise there.
If you read the first post, this thread is about how to install it without the harness. If you have half a brain and a soldering iron, you can install it without the harness.

The harness is the quickest way and the easy way to get out of it, I have it of course, BUT James92TSI is right you dont have to have the harness it just makes things easier, If you want a project to learn your car do it without the harness, just for fun
