car BOGs at WOT after dp install?

i dont get it guys, i installed an apexi n1 dp and catback exhaust,
and when i go WOT, the car accellerates, and then bogs ....
my boost spikes at 16-17 psi btw, just strange ...

any theories?

my sparks are new and properly gapped, we just had the 60k service done at mitsu. it's more of a backfire than a bog; i think. it would accelerate, then pop once or twice, and then continue accelerating. do you guys have a cure rather than just tuning the richness with a SAFC? thanks.

Mine did that too after I installed the T-28 but the spark plugs took care of most of it as well as lowering the boost a couple of lbs. Have you changed your fuel filter recently? What are your plugs gapped at? I had Denso Iridiums in it when it was giving me problems and I installed NGK BPR7ES gapped to .029" and it helped a ton. I check the gap on the Densos and it was at .043"... waaayyy to big. The T-28 was probably blowing out the spark. Kinda sucks... $50 bucks down the drain for the Densos that were in the car for 6 months. :(

hmm...i'll be sure to check out the fix with the new fuel filter, mine is pretty old i think. i dont think my sparks are misfiring in any way though.
