what would be a good muffler to use on my 90 talon tsi? i want something that sounds deep and not too loud.

Why not go for a catback, it's more worthwhile than just getting a new muffler (if money isn't an issue).

Otherwise, you could probably look at dynomax mufflers, they seem to be good. I believe all of Buschurs exhausts have them

Thanks, the car in the pic isn't actually mine but it looks just like it. I don't have a digital cam so I stole this one off of ebay :D

Probably the most expensive but great quality

Hahn Race Craft (http://www.hahnracecraft.com/hahn/parts/exhaust.htm)

Nice tone without that to ricy sound

Try for a better price try one of these

dsm Performance (http://www.dsm-performance.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=31&DSMid=0ff54538e4e7005d6bde379cec569aa1)

or

MACHV (http://www.machv.com/catexsys.html)

I would purchase one without the resonator for a better sounding exhaust

resonator pic (http://www.roadraceengineering.com/parts/tweekerparts/2.5inch-resonator.jpg)

OR keep lookin' through the vendors but go 3" for sure

I'd recomend AHP, Greddy or APEX. A bunch of my friends have AHP, and love em. I personaly prefer the Apex'i N1.. But it's not cheap. Another option is to do it custom. Let us know what happens.

If money isn't an issue (like the other guy said)...;)

Go for a 3" turbo-back from Buschur Racing...:D
I have it on my car and I love it. The best thing is that it doesn't sound ricey or like a weedwacker on steroids...
