Problems from lowering

I just bought a new 1g AWD and it is lowered about 2 inches with springs. My dad took the car to a mechanic and he says it causes differential problems and other stuff. I didnt think lowering really hurt anything but Im not sure. Got any advice?

If it was lowered poorly then it will cause lots of problems, espeically if the camber is thrown off really bad by the lowering.

On AWD there are more driveline pieces...obviously. These areas tend to wear a little faster than if it was'nt lowered. More stress on the axles etc. 2" is close to borderline.
