I adjusted my clutch pedal height a while back cuz it was catching too close to the floor... but then a couple weeks later i'm drivin around... and all of a sudden with the pedal all the way up its like the clutch hasnt released--rpms spike but i get no power....
So i readjusted the pedal again... and it fixed it... but soon afterwards I had to adjust it once again...
ne idea what causes this??
do i need to bleed the clutch?? -- how do i do that?? -- what does that do??

I had similar inconsistencies in engagement at one time. I bled the clutch and flushed out all of the old fluid and the problem has been gone since.
Just to be sure you may want to check the master and slaves to make sure that they aren't leaking from their seals.

The clutch pedal rod must be adjusted so there is a little free play in it. If the rod is too tight it will not allow the clutch master cylinder to release all the way causing "pump-up" of the system. This is a common problem for the 2G cars. Has to do with the design of the clutch master cylinder. If you put the correct amount of free play in the rod, but can not get the clutch to release fully at the floor or it starts to grab too early off the floor, then back out the cruise switch at the pedal to allow for more pedal travel & free play. Then adjust the rod again.

does that mean the distance from the fully up pedal to where u can shift into gear should be smaller or bigger?

With the clutch pedal completely released, there should be a little free play.

last time i adjusted it... thats what i did... but it seemed to slowly keep moving upward to the point that with the pedal completely up... the clutch was not released...
