Ok whats the difference between a 1.8 and Jspec 1.8??? Just need to know....

It actually matters which application you get.

If you get the G37B J-spec replacement, the engine's chamber is not as well designed, but the deck height is taller then the 4G37. THe bore though is slightly larger, but not enough to make the difference. The motor's overall performance though is quite weak, not a very good engine at all.

The 4G37 that comes from Japan looks exactly like ours, other then they dont have plugs, everything is directly wired.

someone had told me that they used the 2.0 head on the 1.8 block? any truth in this?

Its bull crap. You can't do it. THe water ports are totally different among the two heads, so whoever told you that lied severely.

yea yesterday i compared the 2 heads.... and i saw that....

Does the J-spec 1.8 have diff performance #'s. And if it doesn't have wires what do you do when they go bad??
