View Full Version : JE pistons, ARP Head stud prices for 1.8!

Here are the prices I paid. All stuff made custom:

JE 9:1 Racing Pistons with Rings = 500 dollars. They cutt it even.
ARP Head Studs = 134.76, with shipping, about 160 something.

My JE pistons took 2 months to make, and they had to be shipped. ARP Head studs took like 5 days. Rods would take a long time also, don't think this stuff comes in right off the bat. No one has a crate motor in 1 week with this stuff in it. No way, no how. I have this stuff for real, I will be adding pictures soon.

Oh by the way, if I can get 50 people to buy a Multi Layer head gasket [steel shear], then they will make me one :)

Pictures of my pistons and block. ARP head studs aren't on it, but right now they are. Basically what they are is a black stud that has threads on both sides. You just finger tight the threads into the block, then you put the head on, after that, you thread the nuts that come with your set on with some lube, and then put the nut at torque specs. That easy. If you bolt them hard into the block, you will screw it up. Don't do it.
