best thing is to get a shop manual, most of the steps are listed there. **DO NOT TRY TO PULL THE NEEDLES OFF, YOU CAN SLIP THE INDIGLO AROUND THE NEEDLES.

i have a 97 GS-T and i also recently installed indiglo gauges also. the thread posted above are the instructions i basically used, and they worked well. but here are some tips
1 when you remove the black trim piece around the speedo, remove the two screws on top and then the whole piece just pulls out, your gonna have to tug a little bit.
2. im not sure but i think there are four screws holding the cluster in place. remove those screws and then carefully pull the whole cluster out, be carefull. there are no wires in the back of the cluster but there is a piece of plastic on the back that can be easily damaged, so try not to let anything scratch the back of the cluster, youll see what i mean.
3. ok now that the whole cluster is out you can bring it to a comfortable place where you can work on it.
4.remove the clear plastic piece covering the gauges. the covering just pops off with a little work , but youll know how when you see it
5.now to put the indiglo gauges onto the old gauges i just put some double sided tape on the back side of the indiglo gauges. i then kinda bent the indilgo gauges a tad bit (pleeze do not literally bend your gauges, just kind of curve them) and slid them over the needles. i had to trim pieces of my indiglo gauges to make them fit properly, and dont worry about moving the needles they will automatically return to their orginal positions when you reinstall the cluster.
6. i then snapped the clear plastic piece back on and let the wires for the indiglo gauges run through these holes on the side of the cluster.
7.as far as powering the gauges i basically followed the instructions provided by the older thread but these were a couple of thing that i figured out. also when tapping wires together you can buy these plastic connectors at auto stores like pepboys, which keeps the integrity of the wires and make connecting wires ALOT easier. i dont really know what there called but im sure someone in the auto parts store can help you
good luck on installing your gauges and let me know how it turns out
